MTM-SD™

System: MTM-SD was developed for processes exhibiting a high method level. The basic values represent a simplified building block system based directly on MTM-1. The following application conditions would indicate that MTM-SD is the system of choice:

  • production with a high degree of repetition
  • longer-cycle work processes
  • detail-designed processed
  • work instruction with precise description of methods
  • deviation in individual operator methods can be detected

Typical application areas exist in companies with high volume or bach production, such as supplier plant for vehicle construction and electronic production.

Course: The MTM-SD class includes coverage of the building block system and basic data, using laboratory problems to illustrate its principles and use. The MTM-SD class also employs thorough practice in the analysis of business operations.  If a candidate completes the course, they will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to apply for BlueCard® certification.  Please contact MTM for a list of BlueCard® certification requirements.

Duration: 5 days; Normally held M-F.

Prerequisite: Students must have MTM-1 Certification.

Venue: This course is taught by a MTM-Certified Instructor, in a class-room setting; all training materials are included.
